What we do not collect

You don't need an account, name, phone number or email.

We never receive your check-ins, notes, mood, sleep, water, steps, weight, height, age, heart rate, blood pressure, fasting times or anything else you enter in a tool. We have no server that stores them.

What is saved on your device

Your check-ins, streaks, badges, fasting timer, brushing count and unit choice (kg or lb) are saved in your browser's local storage on this device only. Other people using the same browser could see them.

You can download them as a file or delete them at any time from the 'Your data' box in the Daily Habits Coach, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Links you share from a calculator carry your numbers after the # in the address. Browsers never send that part to any server, but anyone you send the link to can see the numbers.

Ask Sprout (built-in browser AI)

If your browser has its own built-in AI (for example some versions of Google Chrome), an 'Ask Sprout' box appears. Your question goes to the AI model that runs on your own computer, managed by your browser maker, not to us. We never see the question or the answer.

Visit statistics and hosting

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools are used, so we can improve them. It may set cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. It never receives what you type into a tool. In the UK, the EU and Switzerland it does not set cookies unless you agree. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.

Advertising and cookies

We plan to show ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Ads are never based on what you enter in our tools, because we never receive it. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com, and of some other vendors' cookies at https://www.aboutads.info/choices.

Consumer health data laws

Some laws, such as Washington State's My Health My Data Act, protect consumer health data. Because your health entries stay on your device and are never collected, shared or sold by us, we hold no consumer health data about you. We do not sell personal information of any kind.

If you email us

We use your email address only to reply to you, and we delete the conversation when it's no longer needed. Please don't send us medical details.

Children

This site is meant for adults 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you (normally none, apart from emails you send us) and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to [email protected].
